To cut a long story short, my 2 year old son has started to enjoy drawing, regrettably that also means he doesn't know his boundaries of using paper all the time.... he decided to scribble on our foot stool / Pouffe (whichever terminology you subscribe too!) with blue biro.... within 5 minutes we had Vanish on the stain as follishly we bought (pre kids) cream fabric sofas and pouffe (It is not a footstool ;) ) vanish did absolutely nothing to this, I then did a bit of googling and people suggested vinegar and soap and some other odd ideas - all of which did not work.... so we are now 2 weeks down the line looking at possibly buying new sofas. "Cracking stuff, worked on Ink marks on my leather settee which the kids marked 3 years ago. Nothing got it off and so I have just lived with it, I had to reuse it a few times and worked.
